Going Back to Blogging! #WritingHappiness

Imahe
YeeHaw! I'm Back! After 9 months of being so busy ( since the last time i blogged)  and of dealing things purposely, here    I am logging in to my blog again. I super miss this so called, "humble abode." My home-- MY SANCTUARY.  Some people may tend to forget some things that aren't important especially if it doesn't matter to them, but for me, it's here I can contradict with some people's misconceptions (like this is just a waste of time)   because here in this blogging activity that I have, I can continue to share the crazy adventurrific-side of me,  write events and stories, and share my future goals and even the whereabouts of my life. This site is already my happiness, a part of my life! Yes, I am alive. I am excited to fill this site again with so much beautiful memories. I want to feel my longings again. I want to express my own perceptions here fully   and put this like a room of widened thoughts. Where am I in the past ...

Cinderella: Oldie but a goodie

Imahe
I MUST admit, although I have lots of love for Disney and have seen many of their movies back in the day, it still excites me and I feel like  I've never seen the "Disney princess" kinds of movies. That's why I tempt some of my friends to go with me just to experience a somewhat magical night. It was last March 24, 2015, when we watch a newest version of a story of Cinderella.  Having grown up with 3 siblings, the Disney films I was raised on were stuff like Lion King, Aladdin, Snowhite, Sleeping Beauty, The Beauty and the Beast, and Hercules. That being said, knowing nearly nothing about Cinderella except the big plot points everyone already knows about, I thoroughly enjoyed the new live-action rendition of Cinderella. As the story went amazingly viewed, it truly narrates the older version with some bit of a twist, and I just knew why Ella, the main character, was called Cinderella, hahaha! I would like to get this out of the way: the movie is extremely ...

OLD-FASHIONED LOVE

Imahe
What happened to that old fashion type of relationship? The ones where you slowly fall in love with each other and you can tell that they’re the one just by looking into their eyes. The ones that are handwritten on sheets of binder paper with sappy love poems that actually came from their heart, and not from google. The ones where you always thought of each other as best friends, before you thought of each other as lovers. When you used to meet their parents instead of meeting the inside of their bed sheets. When you knew hearing rocks hit your window pane meant sneaking out, just to lay under the stars together.     Sometimes I think that I was born in the wrong decade. I want to live in the time where going out dancing means going out to a fancy restaurant that has a dance floor with a live band playing swing music. Where most men were gentlemen and treated girls with respect, like ladies. Where you can wear pretty dresses with full skirts everyday without...

20 things you probably don't know about me

Imahe
Hi there, fellas! Today, I thought to share with you on some facts about myself (: (: (: I'm used to be weird and lil' bit mysterious but now I want to dislodge myself from shyness  and I've never done this before, so here it goes! A little late but better than never right? lol 1) I have a younger sister                 Most people and my friends would often think that i'm the only one daughter in our family because i never post up many pictures with my sister before. She is 25 years old and frankly speaking, she's more introvert than me. But, she's more smarter in terms of information technology (yay, hehehe). Yup, with such age gap, we're not really as close to each other as most siblings are. But definitely, she's my favorite, an ally, and such a sweet buddy (not just a sister sa balay). Love her more now.*wink* 2) I'm a major music lover                 When I feel that our crib...

FOOD TRIPPING AT YUGIRI

Imahe
Yehey!!! After a long while, I was able to taste again a japanese kind of food with a different taste. I was able to be back again to my other slice of having fun--- and that's FOOD TRIPPING!  This time, my friends and colleagues at work brought me unexpectedly to a newly-promoted japanese resto, just located at Basak, Lapu-Lapu City. It's called YUGIRI. I've been to some foreign-inspired restos alreday, but just this time I just felt unique w/ my YUGIRI experience, hahaha! After all, it has always been included in my bucket list to always try something new, and that's why paopao always tease me (sige lang ug kaon pero wa ghpon ni tambok). I'm just a food trip lover though, char, harhar. Anywy,  I believe e ating is not merely a material pleasure. Eating well gives a spectacular joy to life and contributes immensely to goodwill and happy companionship. Food trippings creates fond memories. Even if I don't have much money to buy food or anything, but as long as ...

The Humble and Sincere Pope, #PopeFrancis

Imahe
He has always amazed me ever since he became Pope. I was happy, first and foremost, when I've heard from the news that he's traveling on an Asian Trip, first from Sri Lanka then to our native nation, the Philippines on January 15-19. So, I was then a bit excited for the papal visit even though I could only see him on T.V. and could not reach him personally.  Pope Francis' mission to the Philippines was to give new hope for the Filipino people and to inspire them to have more faith in God, even more deeply. Especially to all the Yolanda survivors in Tacloban and Palo, Leyte, who have been much affected with the typhoon a year ago. I knew he would make a difference on the Church’s message, and he did, right from the very start up until now. He has invited all of us to reexamine our faiths and what role it is playing exactly in our lives today. Having seen him on t.v. during his sojourn in our country for 5 days, I admit I was a bit apprehensive on the Pope’s visi...

The Secret of Success

Imahe
We are all born to succeed. We must achieve something great in the limited time that we call life.. This is our duty - a duty that every man or woman should bear. But what should we do in order to achieve success? If you want to be successful in your work, you must follow this rule: focus on only one thing at a time. Indeed, this is a rule for anybody to follow. Some people are too ambitious. They want to do this and they want to do that. They want to do many things at one time, with the result that they accomplish nothing at all. Others are too idle. They do not know the value of time and they always put off until tomorrow what they should do today. They often say that they will do something by and keep putting off things until they cannot be done anymore. Being successful doesn't require one to be exceptionally talented. It is just a matter of attitude. Faith in your abilities, determination to prove something to yourself and the world and the willingnes...
