FOOD TRIPPING AT YUGIRI

Yehey!!! After a long while, I was able to taste again a japanese kind of food with a different taste. I was able to be back again to my other slice of having fun--- and that's FOOD TRIPPING!  This time, my friends and colleagues at work brought me unexpectedly to a newly-promoted japanese resto, just located at Basak, Lapu-Lapu City. It's called YUGIRI. I've been to some foreign-inspired restos alreday, but just this time I just felt unique w/ my YUGIRI experience, hahaha! After all, it has always been included in my bucket list to always try something new, and that's why paopao always tease me (sige lang ug kaon pero wa ghpon ni tambok). I'm just a food trip lover though, char, harhar. Anywy,  I believe eating is not merely a material pleasure. Eating well gives a spectacular joy to life and contributes immensely to goodwill and happy companionship. Food trippings creates fond memories. Even if I don't have much money to buy food or anything, but as long as I can feel better, chill, and relax, then it's worth it!

It was a fine Tuesday afternoon (February 24) after work, when my friend slash colleague Rodaline convinced me to go with them, my other colleagues at work in Grade 6, and without further hesitation, because I was excited also, I was able to wander and chill w/ them. BeSIdes, its prior to my after work hangout. (Photos above are the awesomest colleagues & friends, Nicoli, Manilyn, Mam jOY, Mam Buena, & Rodaline). We departed past 5pm after work when we went there at the Yugiri Japanese Restaurant and it just so happened that we spend it well, coz it's like a flyday for us, and we didn't worry ourselves for the day after that, coz it was a holiday.

When we arrived there, their service staff greeted us warmly as they just want us to feel a japanese ambiance (and yeah, the're really right, we felt it the whole night). So nice! They really showed us their good hospitality, as what is printed in their chopstick! ahaha... Omotenashi!

It was my first time to use the mini tables where we can sit on the floor. It was also my first time to use the menu handed to us by a dedicated staff. I got admired with them, and one of them was a pretty lady who wore an elegant Japanese dress, I named her "Miss" because I didn't know her name. Opposite us were a group of agents (I guess) and school employees also, having a quick dinner. On the far corner, a couple were busy using the laptop and there was also a family having their bonding time.

While waiting for our orders, my friends were busy using their cellphones and we were also chatting at the same time. As for me, I was very excited because for the first time, I did not order halohalo, my favorite (wala man pd gd sa ila menu, bwaha). I was wondering the whole time how would i use my chopstick easily if I'm still too slow in handling it, hehe. Well then, I just follow Manilyn to use a spoon & fork instead. For the meanwhile, let's view some photos of me and my friends.

For our main event, here are photos of what we ordered.

As for my real concern, we were about to embark on another wonderful Japanese Restaurant experience. Hoping for more food adventures and food trips this 2015! hehehe...(coz it's a rare to have like this in between)

So thankful and blessed to be with them! :) ;) **) I LOVE THESE PIPS!!!
