20 things you probably don't know about me

Hi there, fellas! Today, I thought to share with you on some facts about myself (: (: (: I'm used to be weird and lil' bit mysterious but now I want to dislodge myself from shyness  and I've never done this before, so here it goes! A little late but better than never right? lol

1) I have a younger sister
Most people and my friends would often think that i'm the only one daughter in our family because i never post up many pictures with my sister before. She is 25 years old and frankly speaking, she's more introvert than me. But, she's more smarter in terms of information technology (yay, hehehe). Yup, with such age gap, we're not really as close to each other as most siblings are. But definitely, she's my favorite, an ally, and such a sweet buddy (not just a sister sa balay). Love her more now.*wink*

2) I'm a major music lover
When I feel that our crib and the surroundings are so quiet, I will immediately turn on the music player of my Ipad just to hear and tune in to my favorite genre of songs. This will make my pastime perky and I'll be feeling more inspired. Even sometimes when our neighbor play some sweet and ballad songs, ma-LSS sab ko ug apil! ahaha...lol

3) I've had my ears pierced (one of my ears was pierced twice) since I was 6 years old
Thanks to my mom, I could never remember how the pain felt like to get a two-hole piercing since I was so young. I hardly wear ear rings though and amazingly, the holes never closed.

4) I play flute sometimes
I used to play the flute and got addicted to it when I was in high school til college and I still know how to. Up to now, i sometimes play the flute when I am alone 'coz it makes me feel chilled.

5) I try to make it a point to go to church every Sunday or any day in a week
Just because God is important to me and I want to worship and thank him every week for what he has done for me and blessed me with. I also find peace when i'm on church and values to learn from to be a better individual. Yup, it's not an obligation nor a routine for me to do this but rather I want to acknowledge and thank Him everyday of my life. I can now humbly say, I'M DRAWING MORE CLOSER TO GOD!

6) I love people who have a good sense of humor
I would choose someone who has a sense of humor over looks anytime. Someone who has the ability to make a girl laugh is definitely attractive for me.

7) All my hair once cut off (meaning, I was once a poor bald child)
It happened when I was two months young. I was a teen already when my mom told me about it. And she just laugh harder as I was just seemingly shy to know of it. She just told me the reasons that I had a really very curly short hair. They thought to cut all my hair because they wanted my hair to grow back even straighter, longer and thicker. I slightly thanked mom for doing that crazy thing. Yes, my hair grew back after like 2 months, but it was not so thick as I have ever thought it would be til now.

8) I'm fond of watching horror movies
Yes, I really like horror movies. However, I don't like to watch them alone. Most of the time, I watch horror movies together with my friends and sometimes with my brothers and sister at home.Of course, I wouldn't want to scare myself and get sleepless nights over a scary movie...LOL!

9) I love milo
I drink it almost everyday! We have a whole cupboard full of milo in our kitchen so I don't run out of it.

10) I secretly wish to be taller
Okay, it's not a secret after all. I'm currently 151 cm  in height and to some people they already think i'm not quite tall. And it sound so down for me, that is why I want to be more taller, I really do! My ideal height would be 155cm.

11) I love watching marriage proposals and wedding videos
Now, as I get more matured already, I cry every time watching them. I've always been a hopeless romantic and watching how two people come together as one flesh and chose to spend the rest of their life together, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It must feel wonderful to finally marry your prince charming (':

12) An introvert and an extrovert at the same time
I can be really friendly or really quiet at times, depending on the situation and the company.

13) I keep a list of what I want to achieve in life
It changes as I grow older but to me, I feel it's important to write down what you want to achieve because once you've written it down, mentally you'll work hard and do whatever you can to achieve it and after years have gone past and you look back at that list, you'd be surprise when you see you actually did achieved some of it. Try it (:

14) I'm always longing to see my long-time best friend
Others may probably have seen me hanging out with a lot of different buddies and friends. But actually, I had met already my forever bff in life. But we haven't seen each other for a long time since we both have works (both teachers in public school). We haven't texted also for many years. We only got back to our usual communication when she asked for a friend request on my fb account. It happened unexpectedly last year, 2014. So, that's it, we started to chat each other.I knew she was married already that years in between we haven't communicated, but I was still shocked when I saw her pictures on fb, she have two kids already. Wow!
We had met each other when I was still undergrad student. We had been through tough times together way back in college. Of course, we shared a lot of moments together. This woman that I describe her is Razel Pogoy, now Mrs. Dy. And we call each other, "best". She's just special to me. How I wish to met her soon, very, very soon! :)

 15) I'm fond of eating chips and nuts
Although I am health conscious, eating unhealthy foods like chips was an effective motivation to keep my body awake while doing my tasks (like making LP, test questions, among others) for my work. But I only eat them sometimes. To mention a few, Super Crunch, Dingdong, Happy, Mr. Chips, and Chippy were my guilty pleasures during times when I needed more energy to finish the tasks as early as possible. Despite being labeled as  “junk”, such foods usually do not pose any immediate health concerns and are generally safe when integrated into a well balanced diet. For me, eating junk foods can be helpful especially it can sustain long hours sleepless nights, even if it's unhealthy. Kaon-kaon ra man pud ko panagsa!

16) I can't take very spicy food
I would try my best to avoid very spicy food at all cost. Even if it's just a little bit spicy, you would see me tearing up like a baby and struggling to finish my meal while wiping my nose with tissues.

17) I like to have deep conversations with friends
I care about how my friends are doing, be it relationship or family or any other aspects. Having such conversation with them helps you learn what lies beneath the person.

18) I keep a memory box
In other words, a box of memories. Every letter, note, cards, pictures, slumbooks and other things i've received in my past years, I kept it all in a box so that one day when I grow old I can look through it and reminisce on all the memories.

19) I would play my favorite song on repeat endlessly
When I get obsessed with a song, i'll play it on repeat non-stop until I stop liking it one day and i'll find a new song that I'm obsessed with again and the cycle repeats.

20) I started to eat some asean foods or authentic foods
I just want to explore things I haven't done before and I want to taste foods that's unique, something new for me even it costs little pricey. Just recently, me and my friends have been to some japanese and malaysian restaurants in Lapu-Lapu City to have some food trips. Of course, we're  still bucketing another food adventure to discover more!

A rather wordy post, but if you made it till here, thank you for sparing your time to read about me!:)
