SNIPPETS OF MY LIFE

Emotion is at the heart of the holidays. Looking through the Christmas presents and greetings from facebook I have received thus far this year, I am struck by references to “joy,” “peace,” “love,” “cheer,” and “merriness.” My holiday moments will not be more splendid  without spending it with my loved ones especially on New Year's Day. The main highlights were hanging out together with Kenn, my Paopao!! “Another fresh new year is here . . . Another year to live! To banish worry, doubt, and fear, To love and laugh and give! This bright new year is given me To live each day with zest . . . To daily grow and try to be My highest and my best! I have the opportunity Once more to right some wrongs, To pray for peace, to plant a tree, And sing more joyful songs!” Wishing more good times and more abundance for the Year 2015!!! 2014 has been a great year for me. Wonderful things have happened in my life including little improvements of my work abilities. I got inspired (and will always be) because of my family and God is always there. They gave me everything I need in order to keep moving forward. They will always continue to inspire me in the years to come. Because of that, so thankful to God, all glory and honor will forever be for HIM. 2014 was my most colorful year yet, and I thank God for it. As much as it was difficult, it also played a huge part in molding me as a person. Also, it was a year of blessings and good realizations. We always come out stronger, and it goes to show that we will never be forsaken and that things always happen for the best of reasons. Today, we look past all of that, but we must still continue to treasure every bit of it. Holiday dates finally commence! Last Saturday, December 27, 2014, my paopao and I finally stepped inside La Vie Parisienne, a French Bakery in Gorordo Ave.,Lahug Cebu City. We've found the place interesting aside from feeling lunatic to have it intentionally done maybe bec. of curiosity even if its quite far from the downtown. The Parisienne life lifted out good convenience to the customers and that made our day comfy especially the couches they provide. When we got inside, their famous croissants, French breads, cheeses, quiches, macarons, olive oils, beers and everything else were beautifully served. All were scrumptious, though too pricey! I also got impressed with their wine library. Overall, the place was exactly how I imagined it would be- cozy, warm and very homey. This is a miraculous time of year when people begin to believe in miracles again and become pure-minded like heartfelt children. We all come from childhood. This is a fun and good time which is associated with sweet memories and a sense of continuing happiness. I remember this happy-go-lucky period of my life when I dreamed with confidence without thinking whether my dreams would come true or not. On Christmas Eve, there were dozens of lights which gloom in our house and father loved to do his ritual, the lighting of firecrackers after noche buena. I remember also how my mother cooked her home-made cheese-topped spaghetti and prepared bibingka and biko specialties. Honestly,...

Yahooooooooooooo!!!! It's Christmas Time.... Christmas is on the air. I can already feel the cold breeze and the spirit of Christmas wherever I go. Sooner, the holidays will be officially on. My real christmas vacation will be starting this December 18-19, 2014, with my travel buddies and co-teachers.  This means we'll be in the mood for merry-making, & everybody will love that. And on the latter days, it also means more time to spend with my loved ones and my significant other (cause honestly I haven't spared my time well and have a christmas treat with them) *winks*, and my fave, the foods & gifts giving...
