It's Christmastime

Yahooooooooooooo!!!! It's Christmas Time....


Christmas is on the air. I can already feel the cold breeze and the spirit of Christmas wherever I go. Sooner, the holidays will be officially on. My real christmas vacation will be starting this December 18-19, 2014, with my travel buddies and co-teachers.  This means we'll be in the mood for merry-making, & everybody will love that. And on the latter days, it also means more time to spend with my loved ones and my significant other (cause honestly I haven't spared my time well and have a christmas treat with them) *winks*, and my fave, the foods & gifts giving... HAHA

The thing about Christmas here in the Philippines is that everything’s about traditions! Of family, friends,  & even strangers. Everyone seems to be in a merry, festive mood! Everyone seems to be generous! That feeling of being happy, despite all our problems, can be found everywhere! And I mean, EVERYWHERE! Ask anyone how he is and he’ll probably tell you, “am OK." So, let us all remember that the Christmas heart is a giving heart, a wide open heart that thinks of others first. The birth of the baby Jesus stands as the most significant event in all history, because it has meant the pouring into a sick world of the healing medicine of love which has transformed all manner of hearts for over two thousand years... Underneath all the bulging bundles is this beating Christmas heart. ...



 It’s Christmastime!”. Everything is, Christmassy! :) 
Oh yess, Christmas! The very word brings joy to our hearts., & no matter how we may dread the rush, the long Christmas lists for gifts and cards to be bought and given--when Christmas Day comes there is still the same warm feeling we had as children, the same warmth that enfolds our hearts and our homes. So I am not really surprised that everyone wants to give someone something! EVERYONE WANTS TO BE SOMEONE ELSE’S VERY OWN SANTA CLAUS.... *winks*


What's in my Christmas list?

I'm not a materialistic person, that i am very sure of or someone who's obsessed in anything superficial, nor would I wish to stop poverty coz that would be close to impossible. ;)

1. I wish that I'd be a better girlfriend to my bf. I wish nothing but the best for our relationship...

2. I wish for a long-term happiness. 

3. I wish that me & my bff's travel plans for the coming years would be good to go. Keeping my fingers cross, cause we're planning to visit different places to experience the other side of life.  Some of our fiends are like "Is that your new hobby?" HAHA I'm telling you it's not.

4. I wish to spend more time with my family. Due to the constant busy schedule, I haven't got the chance to bond more with them.

5. I wish for everyone to find their happiness.

6. I wish for everyone to have peace for themselves.

Camotes Island: Our Trip to the Lost Horizon of the South

Summer is not just the time to go to places to relax, unwind and soul searching. You can have all the days you want, all the time you need and all the places to visit. Since I was in college, I always wanted to visit some bigger islands here in Cebu. Human combustion isn’t real. At least, that’s what my science professors in college and high school said. Yet, somehow, I felt like I was on the verge of bursting into flames as the dry season was about to officially kickoff. With Metro Cebu heating up environmentally and politically, I had a craving for a refreshing escapade to get away from the hot spell. And, as I was going through a multitude of options, a beautiful idea flashed into my mind. Why not take a plunge at the famous beaches and trendy places in Camotes Island here in Cebu? The Cafe Hopper!

Apart from being workaholic person, I also set my another businesses into pleasures which I'm always counting on. Because I believe some things should not be taken for granted for those have been around for a long time.  What I'm talking about actually are the simple pleasures that also gives meaning to life. And some of these might be new for me because it's more indulging, like my newest passion, "photography." But recently, I'm into hops and fun! Particularly in a place called Cafe.. So, yes, I'm now literally called a cafe hopper even if I'm too occupied with work-related activities. It's another new simple pleasure and a new temporary "humble abode" for me (just fondly called) because there's no place like home, anyway! hehe.  Needless to say, I'm overjoyed when I'm in a cafe, considering it's as odd as before.
