Simple, Yet Blissful

 "Happy 31st to me, eh!" Yeah. But who says I've already mourned over about my age because another year has swiftly passed me by and that I seemed scared to look older?! Apparently, it's not what you think. 'Coz this day made me feel so special and made me more proud of myself being a woman of thirties (being a gift to the world):) The 28th of November is always special to me and my family since it’s the date when they saw me and held me for the first time. During the 28th day, I usually celebrate my birthday at home, 'coz I just wanted to make it simple but worth to remember. I just celebrate it with my family, and invite my relatives and friends. Don't really prefer parties. hehehe.

 Sometimes, I feel pretentious about my age but I have my reasons, I just don't want to reveal something everyday vocally. So glad, you came my 31st day because this means that I'm gonna be mature enough apart from thinking that I'll be leaving the calendar days sooner. Bwahaha! Kidding! Anyway, at this time of my age, I know there's just another "me,'' I know I'm still young to have a lot to experience and it's gonna be exciting. So happy I've turned 31, bec. I have received another wonderful gift of life. My life at 31 will be the beginning, whole new thing happens and I'll just have to prepare for it. I will be embarking on a new journey that will surely find me tripping and falling, but can keep me rising stronger.

 Over the past 30 years, so much has happened in my life. I have grown to be a responsible and determined woman, molded by my experiences and strengthened by my faith. The past year has taught me a great deal about myself and the world. Every day I’m learning more about the people around me, the career I have chosen and more about the person that I am and the person I want to be in the future. I’m striving to live a life that is both positive and present. I know it wouldn’t be easy, but every effort I make ends of being worth it. 

 I know that this year will be another great milestone in my life coupled with hard work and prayers then I’ll be ready to unfold another chapter of my life.

Summer is not just the time to go to places to relax, unwind and soul searching. You can have all the days you want, all the time you need and all the places to visit. Since I was in college, I always wanted to visit some bigger islands here in Cebu. Human combustion isn’t real. At least, that’s what my science professors in college and high school said. Yet, somehow, I felt like I was on the verge of bursting into flames as the dry season was about to officially kickoff. With Metro Cebu heating up environmentally and politically, I had a craving for a refreshing escapade to get away from the hot spell. And, as I was going through a multitude of options, a beautiful idea flashed into my mind. Why not take a plunge at the famous beaches and trendy places in Camotes Island here in Cebu? The Cafe Hopper!

Apart from being workaholic person, I also set my another businesses into pleasures which I'm always counting on. Because I believe some things should not be taken for granted for those have been around for a long time.  What I'm talking about actually are the simple pleasures that also gives meaning to life. And some of these might be new for me because it's more indulging, like my newest passion, "photography." But recently, I'm into hops and fun! Particularly in a place called Cafe.. So, yes, I'm now literally called a cafe hopper even if I'm too occupied with work-related activities.
