Know Everything About Me...

I'm Caricris O. Marata. My friends call me Cris, Crissy, Carrie, or Charley... I just turned 30 last November 28, 2013. Still feeling young at heart and still energetic kind of person. I'm not that type of person who will feel bad of their age. Rather I feel very proud of it. I'm presently residing at Marigondon, Lapu-Lapu City. I'm still single and have a boyfie who is one year older than me. Almost four years in a relationship and still growing stronger. 

 I'm working as a teacher in a public school for four years. So happy of my life now with my family and friends who's always there to support me. Besides the stable job that I have, I feel satisfied with my living condition. But I know years later on, I'm gonna face another chapter of my life. You know what I am talking, in this time of my life. I'm not getting any younger now. Well, that's one of the wishes I am up too. To get married is not that easy. So many responsibilities I need to take upon. Probably, the calling is not yet there for me.

 To know me well, here are some bits of me:
Knows how to make friends. An outgoing person. Always "on the go." Can keep someone's secret (hehehe). Devoted to my family. Hardworking. Sometimes high-tempered. Quiet. Hates hypocrite type of person. Loves research and travel many places. Fond of photography. Thoughtful. Lovable. Never take things for granted. Creative. Determined. Knows what she wants. Loves music. Down to earth. Thinks positive. Open-minded. A good fighter of some of her weaknesses. Hates being fooled. Fears to be alone. An adventure-seeker. Strives hard to commit her greatest goal. Wants to live a simple but fruitful life in the future with a happy family.

Camotes Island: Our Trip to the Lost Horizon of the South

Summer is not just the time to go to places to relax, unwind and soul searching. You can have all the days you want, all the time you need and all the places to visit. Since I was in college, I always wanted to visit some bigger islands here in Cebu. Human combustion isn’t real. At least, that’s what my science professors in college and high school said. Yet, somehow, I felt like I was on the verge of bursting into flames as the dry season was about to officially kickoff. With Metro Cebu heating up environmentally and politically, I had a craving for a refreshing escapade to get away from the hot spell. And, as I was going through a multitude of options, a beautiful idea flashed into my mind. Why not take a plunge at the famous beaches and trendy places in Camotes Island here in Cebu? The Cafe Hopper!

Apart from being workaholic person, I also set my another businesses into pleasures which I'm always counting on. Because I believe some things should not be taken for granted for those have been around for a long time.  What I'm talking about actually are the simple pleasures that also gives meaning to life. And some of these might be new for me because it's more indulging, like my newest passion, "photography." But recently, I'm into hops and fun! Particularly in a place called Cafe.. So, yes, I'm now literally called a cafe hopper even if I'm too occupied with work-related activities. It's another new simple pleasure and a new temporary "humble abode" for me (just fondly called) because there's no place like home, anyway! hehe.  Needless to say, I'm overjoyed when I'm in a cafe, considering it's as odd as before.
