Because You Only Live Once!

Imahe
You only live once-- heavily cliched, but you stand by it! You only live in the moment. You are not fond of thinking or worrying about the future, because tomorrow is not promised to anyone. You seize the day and am always on the lookout for things YOU can do right now because life is uncertain. YOU are not ashamed to say that YOU're afraid of death; but YOU're even more terrified of having regrets over things YOU could have done. Climbing rocks and running trails, meeting and learning experiences from various people, exploring and being lost to unknown places with people I love the most have been making me the happiest person and I don't think they're all a waste of time. If it makes you happy, then focus for it. Spend more time with people who are good for your mental health and don't let toxic people teach you what they want you to be.

DUMAGUETE - SIQUIJOR: A Place Where Paranormal Phenomena Abound

Imahe
Everyone knows what Siquijor is – or so everyone says. It is known as the mystic Land of Fire (Isla del Fuego) – and as the popular tales say – it’s a remote island where paranormal phenomena abound . It was a just a 2-day quick escape/vacation where we stayed at Diamond de Siquijor Beach House. This staycation we had ...

Slow Down: Life's Not a Race

Imahe
Suddenly, just realized that life was not a race that I need to win. I am not in a competition. I don't need to hurry in everything because we all have our own moments, our own season. There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity. So instead of stressing myself about how my life will be, I learn to enjoy the present moment. I take a break when I need to, I travel to free my mind from all the worries.  Our reality sabotages us Our life feels like a race because we look at what everyone else is doing and then compare it with our own results. When I look at my friends I see: – They’re married – They own a house (or two) – They have kids – They’re very fit Who says that this is  what success looks like?  Who puts a timeline on when or even why you need to do all of these things? While I don’t believe that we should waste time, I do believe we shouldn’t become obsessed with it.  Time is more important than money.  It’s...
