Writing More Complaining Less

I started this blog to share my writing. I haven't really done that yet and I still cling to the dream that I am going to find my old things and share them here. This has kept me from even considering writing anything new. Silly me. SO here it is. I am going to write something every week. Even if it is a paragraph of pure nonsense, I am writing and posting. For shorting things, they go straight to the blog. For longer items I am going to post them using Google documents and put a link here. This is the plan. I will try to keep to it.

The Talent I Want to Flourish

Imahe
Some people may don't know my abilities. Some may don't know that I have skills which I want to develop for myself and one of that is my talent in hosting or emceeing. Yes, I am fond of this talent but sometimes when I take part, I get lost for such reasons. Maybe, I still lack qualities. But I do taking time in improving this talent for me to gain more self-confidence in speaking to public, that's why in every event I am part of (as an emcee), I'd definitely give it my best.  tHe lesson learned when I hosted our Brigada Eskwela Closing Ceremony just happened today in our school:                Dislodge fear and a bit of feeling nervous. Put the mindset on. (I'm not totally upset about this, yet im hoping to have an opportunity again, but to top it all, I've done my best and it's a "well done" for me.") Thanks God.  Confidence is the most important single factor in this game, and no matter how great your natural talent, there is o...

M.E.S Teachers & Parents Relief Ops.: December Outreach Blast!

Imahe
(An entry for our school newsletter, called "LAMDAG".) Dec. 7, 2013 - A day with a purpose of reaching and giving out the needs of our fellow children and their families in the northern part of Cebu who were affected by the typhoon Yolanda recently. This relief operation came to fruition when our principal decided to plan for an outreach program in San Remegio where there were many cases of lost and damage. And so we didn't just sit down and relax but take action.  Through the donations given by d parents, teachers, and w/ the help of the school staff, we made it possible to reach to Kayam and Dapdap ES. We came there not to have fun but to distribute all d relief goods for San Remegio people. It was beyond our expectations when we saw many children stood up (w/ newly cut broomsticks on their hands) as they welcomed us and showed their smiles despite of the situation they had.  We must be very lucky because the teachers there were very kind and hos...

Empty Corner

Imahe
As I roamed around the corners of my classroom just to get some cobwebs during our Brigada Eskwela just happened today, my inner insights reflected again to something.  *Empty Corner* The loneliest place in the world Is an empty corner. Your life, the world, and the ones you love Are behind you. Nothing and no one beside you, Nothing and no one in front of you. A dead end. An empty corner.

Foodie Lovelies: Thrifty Dinner + LOVE

Foodtrip is my favorite activity with friends. Be it a home cooked food, fastfood, etc., as long as we share it with friends, spice up with all the chikas, talks and bunch of laughters, perfect! But tonight, was a special, maybe I'll call it a date of my bhey, Kenn. He just wanted us to be together since he missed me..(meow..meow) hehe:-) But, later, I found out, he just wanted BBQ, his favorite...not me! Well, he'S just craving for it nowadays. :-) On our relationship My relationship with this man has never been dull. What I mean, we always make ourselves happy by talking each other in a thoughtful and sweet conversations. We may not seen so sweet in displaying ourselves in public and we may not share humorous jokes just like others, but we keep our relationship stronger by not fighting each other (maybe its quite bitter to say it). I just want to. More often, he's more dramatic than me. One instance might be proven, ...

My Top 10 Depression Busters

1. Listen to Music. Music never fails to enliven me and make my mood better. Ofcourse, the type of music is subjective, but I feel that the 80’s music, reggae, and oldies are better compared to the newer and noisier songs. ;-) 2. Write it out. For someone like me who prefers to keep to herself, writing is always an excellent avenue to vent out (exactly why I created this blog in the first place), share and just be in touch with my feelings without getting physically violent. Hehe… 3. Get some Exercise. It probably is just unreleased sweat wanting to get out of our systems so it might be best to try and sweat it out as well. (I do have an entry that lists the personal benefits of exercise and its relation to positive mood.) 4. Eat healthy foods. It is true that we always want to compensate some emotional abyss by filling our tummies with pretty much anything, but it won’t do our minds any good if we fill up on junk and unhealthy foods. I guess we can indulge ourselves sometimes...

A life without adventure is likely to be unsatisfying, but a life in which adventure is allowed to take whatever form it will is sure to be short. Once again, we've ventured another stroll of our life. But this time is a touch with nature. Quite different yet we have a fulfilling day . It all started when one of my colleagues decided to plan a trip for May. Besides, we're all adventure-seekers and we're all nature lovers. Actually, our group was supposedly composed of 15, but some did back-outs. Only 7 continued, well, not bad at all. Even if you are with the same fellas you used to be with, but the longing for friendships will  surely bring out the best in each trips and ain't boring at all. My friends and I have been to springs and waterfalls already, but we craved more, so we took a diffrent place for us to enjoy again before summer ends. So, I was the one then who found Catmon a convenient place. During my search for places to visit in Catmon. I found out that ...
